Over his 20-year career in the film industry, William Vince has established an international reputation as a successful producer with wide-ranging technical knowledge and experience in all aspects of feature film production. This includes development, financing, pre-production, production, post-production and distribution. Vince has produced and financed over $400m of feature films to date. As the founder of Infinity Features, Vince continues to guide the company's expanding motion picture and television slate. Through this dynamic company, Vince produced the critically acclaimed Capote (Sony). Among its many international awards, the film garnered five academy awards® nominations including best picture. Vince has been involved in the financing, production, and co-production of over forty feature films including the highly successful Air Bud franchise, starting with Air Bud in 1997, for Disney. Vince was also producer for the romantic comedy Just Friends (New Line Cinema) and Saved! (MGM) as well as Shattered (Icon), a psychological thriller starring Pierce Brosnan, Gerard Butler and Maria Bello. Vince is currently in post-production on Paul McGuigan's science fiction thriller, Push, which was shot on location in Hong Kong and also finishing production on Terry Gilliam's adventure fantasy, The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus.
in 1998, Rob Merilees co-created one of the top independent film companies in the market today. With extensive on-set experience and depth of understanding in film financing, Merilees has worked to bring dozens of feature projects to fruition. Over the past nine years working with Infinity Features, Merilees has helped put together over US$160m in financing for feature films and television. In addition to financing, Merilees has been physically producing feature films for seven years. One of the most ambitious feature film projects in Canadian history, the Snow Walker, starring Barry Pepper and James Cromwell, was developed, financed and produced by Merilees and was shot in Canada's high arctic over the course of a year. The film opened theatrically to four-star reviews and multiple awards. Recently, the Snow Walker has smashed its dvd sales goals in Canada and the USA. Merilees has assisted in the financing and production of films in the Infinity slate such as: Saved!, Mr. Ripley's Return, Evelyn, and Capote to name a few. Not limited to producing films in his home base of Vancouver and Los Angeles offices, Merilees has shot features all over the world in the effort to get the most production value and dollars on screen. He maintains an excellent reputation with banks, funding agencies, distributors, broadcasters, and completion bonders. Merilees is seen to bring added value to projects with his years of experience and extensive technical knowledge of all phases of motion picture management including script development, financing, pre-production through to post, and final elements including the sale and revenue collection of completed films. In addition to his role as producer, Merilees has assisted in the financing and management of a successful post-production facility in Vancouver. He frequently speaks as a film financing and production expert on panels and symposiums. Merilees was a producer on the New Line Cinema romantic comedy, Just Friends, starring Ryan Reynolds, Amy Smart, and Anna Faris. He also produced another New Line film, The Cleaner, starring Cedric the Entertainer and Lucy Liu. Recently Merilees produced a film called Sleepwalking with producer-star Charlize Theron's company, Denver and Delilah Films and WJS Productions. The drama stars Theron, Nick Stahl, Anna Sophia Robb, Dennis Hopper and Woody Harrelson and premiered at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. Merilees is also in post-production on Stone of Destiny, his second feature with writer/director Charles Martin Smith. The film was shot on location in Glasgow, Scotland and stars Charlie Cox, Kate Mara, Robert Carlyle, and Billy Boyd.
Dave Valleau graduated with a bachelor of science from the University of British Columbia in 1999. Valleau joined Infinity Features' business affairs department in 2000. Working in Canada and Germany, Valleau has developed a specialty in international and Canadian co-production and guarantee structures. Valleau also traveled to the United Kingdom to co-produce Roger Spottiswoode's Ripley Underground (Lionsgate), starring Willem Dafoe, Barry Pepper and Alan Cumming. Valleau was associate producer on the critically and financially acclaimed Capote (Sony) where he was responsible for raising the Canadian financing of the project. Valleau was an executive producer on the psychological thriller, Shattered (Icon), starring Pierce Brosnan and Maria Bello, serving as an integral part of the film's development, financing and physical production. Over recent months, Valleau was paramount in negotiating the acquisition of worldwide rights to the sci-fi thriller film Push, which he is executive producing, by Summit Pictures on behalf of infinity. Valleau continues to establish himself as an internationally successful producer with wide-ranging technical knowledge and experience in all aspects of feature film production, including development, financing, pre-production, production, post-production and distribution. Currently working with the development team on several feature films, he is producing a slate of projects in various stages of development and pre-production. Valleau recently worked as production supervisor on the historical Scottish drama Stone of Destiny, and is currently producing Edison and Leo, Canada's first stop motion animated feature film, as well as executive producing Paul McGuigan's thriller Push, currently in post-production.
Scott Watson Post Production Producer In 1990, Scott Watson switched his college major from physics to motion pictures and has never looked back since. Scott's wildly ambitious student films with their elaborate production values led him to the doors of Keystone Pictures, where he shepherded the completion of almost a dozen feature films for Disney and eventually became Keystone's vice president of post production. During his 12 years at Keystone, Scott also worked closely with their development, marketing, distribution, and production divisions. Scott is known for consistently raising the bar, implementing new methods and technology, and above all, pushing for entertainment of the highest caliber. He continues this work at Infinity Features.
